Revealing my new painting Reawakening created for Modern Eden Gallery’s Year of the Snake exhibition. 2025 is the Year of the Snake which is a time of transformation. Snakes are seen to symbolize many things including death, rebirth, and renewal. Year of the Snake is open now through March 6th at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco, CA. Reawakening is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 8″ high.

Excited to share my new painting Ouroboros. Black panthers in Asia and Africa are actually melanistic leopards while those in the Americas are melanistic jaguars. Beauty and protection are among much of the symbolism behind panthers while the snake is seen as a symbol of rebirth.
