I’ve recently finished a couple of new paintings in my In Our Veins series. The first you may recall from the progress photos I posted here. The title is Sustain and it is an acrylic on canvas, 12″ x 12.” The next painting is another addition to the smaller $100 works at 4″ x 4″ and is called Support. While finishing up another painting, I have a small piece currently in the works. This is a progress photo after the outline sketch onto canvas and applying a rough layer of paint and more detailed layers on the left side of the skull. The finished painting will be posted here soon.

This will be the last week of my show at the ACA in Lafayette, LA. I am currently showing as part of the “Apocalypse Now” exhibit at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in the Main Gallery. There will be a closing reception this Saturday, January 9th from 6-9pm in conjunction with the January 2016 Second Saturday Artwalk. Great lineup in this exhibit- do not miss!
