Progress photo of a new painting in the works. Sometimes I take artistic license with my subjects if they don’t quite fit what I had in mind. Such as this spider, which aside from the obvious (abdomen), doesn’t actually exist. So I looked at several spiders and created this one. This piece is an acrylic on canvas, 5″ wide by 5″ high.
