Happy to reveal my newly finished painting Inseparable. This piece is currently part of the Infinite Well 2 exhibition curated by WOW x WOW at Nucleus Portland Gallery in Portland, OR. The exhibition is open now through October 2nd. The human third eye refers to our connection to all of nature. Inseparable features a red ruffed lemur, which are critically endangered, and the black dahlia flowers connect both flora and fauna. Inseparable is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 6″ high. Infinite Well II

Very excited for this upcoming exhibition curated by WOW x WOW at Nucleus Portland Gallery in Portland, Oregon. Today is the beginning of Modern Eden Gallery’s Flashback Sale, which has officially started as of now!  My painting Transcendental is now available for 25% off, originally 500, now 375.  Transcendental was created for “Familiar: The Spirit Animal in Contemporary Art” and is one of my “butterfly eyes” paintings in which the butterflies are a symbol of life.  Both butterflies and life are beautiful, fragile, and ephemeral.  This piece is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 6″ high.

I’m taking a break from my rainforest painting and currently working on another new painting for the upcoming “The Revival” exhibition at Cactus Gallery in Los Angeles.  This show explores life, death, rebirth and growth represented with natural imagery.  This is a close-up of the cheetah’s face and hair which I am currently “building” (seems like the best way to phrase it given the multiple layers of paint leading up to more and more refined line work).  This piece is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 6″ high.  The exhibit will open September 8th at Cactus Gallery.

Excited to finally reveal my finished painting, Transcendental.  This piece was specifically created for a new exhibit at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco called “Familiar: The Spirit Animal in Contemporary Art.”  Transcendental is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ x 6,” and features the “butterfly eyes” in keeping with some of my other paintings as of late.  “Familiar” opens tonight, November 3rd with a gallery reception from 6-9pm and will remain up through December 1st, 2017.
