I’m happy to reveal my new painting Regrowth, created specifically for Modern Eden Gallery’s Night Garden exhibition. The exhibit explores nature and earth magic, flora and fauna, death and wilderness. The human eyes within the leaves refer to our connection to all of nature. Regrowth is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 6″ high. The exhibit is up now through January 4, 2019. I’m happy to reveal my new painting for Cactus Gallery’s The Revival exhibition.  It’s titled Renew and is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 6″ high.  The theme of the show deals with life, death, rebirth, and regrowth through natural imagery which is very much in line with my work.  Renew is in keeping with my ongoing series, In Our Veins, which explores the connections of all life forms and the cycle of life. Each animal, and each plant, serves a role in the life cycle, together forming the delicate balance of nature. I’m taking a break from my rainforest painting and currently working on another new painting for the upcoming “The Revival” exhibition at Cactus Gallery in Los Angeles.  This show explores life, death, rebirth and growth represented with natural imagery.  This is a close-up of the cheetah’s face and hair which I am currently “building” (seems like the best way to phrase it given the multiple layers of paint leading up to more and more refined line work).  This piece is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 6″ high.  The exhibit will open September 8th at Cactus Gallery.

Room of a Thousand Doors

I’m excited to announce that I’ve been invited to participate in the upcoming “Room of a Thousand Doors” exhibit being held by Wow X Wow.  I’ve been working on a new painting for this show, taking it in a slightly different direction (inspired by the theme of many paths to take).  The intense, dark leafy background is a new approach for me.  This is a progress shot of my painting- I’ll be revealing more over the next couple of weeks.  It’s an acrylic on canvas, 6″ x .6″  The exhibit will be held online via Wow X Wow, opening September 1st 7pm BST.
