Happy to announce my new work for the new year. Just finished Sight, an acrylic on canvas, 4″ wide by 4″ high. It’s the latest addition to my In Our Veins series. Also announcing Reflection, though technically not a 2018 painting, I just recently framed it in an antique frame painted black. Sometimes I receive installation images from people after they’ve hung my work in their home. These are a few photos from opening night for the “Face to Face” exhibition at LeMieux Galleries in New Orleans. Artists represented by the gallery as well as a few new artists have created their own interpretation of portraiture, ranging from the traditional to the abstract. The show is up now through July 29th, so there’s still time to see the exhibit.

I’ve just added a new painting to my In Our Veins series. The title is Adpectus, which is Latin for vision, and it is an acrylic on canvas, 4″ wide by 4″ high. This piece continues with the theme of organs on the outside of the body as a reminder of our shared biology.
