Takeover

Happy to share my latest painting Takeover which features an alligator, one of Louisiana’s most popular animals and considered one of the most dangerous. The alligator’s teeth, replaced with human hands, reference the real danger, greed. With human-driven mass extinction underway, natural habitats such as wetlands are at risk, while hands reach out for more. Lupus

Happy to share my latest painting Lupus created for Modern Eden Gallery’s Infinite Horizons exhibition. Lupus is named after the lupus constellation seen on the bottom left of the canvas and is an acrylic on canvas, 11″ wide by 14″ high. I’ve made some more progress on my latest painting. I’m in the home stretch on this one. At 10″ wide by 20″ high, this is a large size given all the detail work (and that yet to be done!). It’s coming along slowly but surely. This is a close-up of one of the pelicans I recently finished. I’ll be revealing the entire finished piece soon.

A few photos of my current painting in progress. I have not decided on a title yet, but can say that it is an acrylic on canvas, 10″ wide by 20″ high. These are a few shots of the beginning stages taking it from a sketch on paper to the first few layers of paint, focusing on the sky.
