I was invited to create a piece for the upcoming Coaster Show at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, California.  The title is Origin, and it is an acrylic on cardstock, 4″ tondo.  The show opens September 2nd, from 8-11pm and will remain up through October 2nd.  View the painting online here: http://laluzdejesus.com/the-4th-annual-coaster-show-mark-todd/origin/.

The opening for my 2-person exhibition with photographer Lee Deigaard will be this weekend at LeMieux Galleries in New Orleans.  The event takes place during White Linen Night on Saturday, August 6th, from 5:30-9:30pm.  Recent paintings from my In Our Veins series will be on exhibit in the Main Gallery through September 24th.

I’m very excited to have 4 paintings accepted into the 2016 “Laluzapalooza” exhibit at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. I’m happy to announce that I’ve been invited to participate in the upcoming “Animus” group exhibition to take place in The Gallery at Karamel in London, England.  The exhibition will feature international vegan artists, taking place July 24th- September 9th, 2016.  A private viewing will be scheduled for invited guests and journalists.  More details soon.

This will be the last week of my show at the ACA in Lafayette, LA.  I am currently showing as part of the “Apocalypse Now” exhibit at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in the Main Gallery.  There will be a closing reception this Saturday, January 9th from 6-9pm in conjunction with the January 2016 Second Saturday Artwalk.  Great lineup in this exhibit- do not miss!

I recently created this painting for the “Wanderlust” exhibit at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco, California.  The title is Roam and it is an acrylic on pressed paper, 5.82″ wide by 4.13″ high.  The exhibition is open now through January 2, 2016 so even though my painting sold, there is still time to see it in person.

The opening for the group exhibition I’m in titled “Apocalypse Now” was held the other night at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette, Louisiana.  The exhibit is up now through January 9, 2016 and will be open late for upcoming Artwalk events in November, December, and January.

I have a couple of exhibitions to mention:  First, “The Coaster Show” at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles is currently open.  There will be a Closing Party this Sunday, September 27th from Noon to 6pm.  I have one coaster left – Reflection – as seen in the YAY! LA Magazine preview article.

Coming up this October, I will be showing as part of the “Apocalypse Now” exhibit at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette, Louisiana.  The exhibit starts October 10th, with an opening reception that evening from 6-9pm (in conjunction with Second Saturday Artwalk).  The exhibit will remain up through January 6, 2016 so there will be plenty of time to check it out.

The Coaster Show, which I am participating in, officially opens tonight at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles.  Yay!
