My paintings Equal and Bridge recently found new homes. Both were recently on view at LeMieux Galleries in New Orleans. In both paintings, their heads are replaced with the natural world, relaying the significant connection of all of nature. It is a part of us. Equal is an acrylic on canvas, 14″ wide by 11″ high and Bridge is 6″ wide by 6″ high, acrylic on canvas. I’ve recently finished a new painting in my In Our Veins series.  The title is Bridge and it is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 6″ high.  Bridge features two mountain rams, linking them to the mountains, serving as a bridge connecting all of nature.  View the painting online here: http://amyguidry.com/bridge.html.

Evolution of another painting I currently have in progress.  It started out as just a little sketch on the corner of an envelope (because you never know when inspiration will strike.)  Then the initial rough layer of paint on canvas and a close-up detail of a ram in progress.  Acrylic on canvas, 6″ by 6.”  I’ll post the finished painting soon- in the meantime, the rest of this series can be found here.
