Relic

“Relic” by Amy Guidry; Acrylic on canvas; 4″ x 4″; Sold; (c) Amy Guidry 2022

Happy to share my new painting Relic featuring a chambered nautilus, a type of mollusk and distant relative of squid, octopi, and cuttlefish. The nautilus is known as a living fossil as similar animals existed over 500 million years ago, long before dinosaurs. The bubbles (or stars) in this piece are open to interpretation. It’s up to you whether they are bubbles in the sea or stars in the sky. Relic is an acrylic on canvas, 4” wide by 4” high, and you can view it on my website here: https://amyguidry.com/relic.html.
