Pathway, the coaster that I painted for La Luz de Jesus Gallery’s Coaster Show recently sold.  Pathway is an acrylic on cardstock, 4″ tondo.  I have one remaining coaster available- Reflection– which was just featured in Yay! My most recent painting is now online.  The title is Preservation and it is an acrylic on canvas, 8″ wide by 10″ high.  The deer and leaves illustrate the connection between animals and forests, and the need to protect nature as a whole.  It is the latest addition to my In Our Veins series, and can be viewed online here: http://amyguidry.com/preservation.html.

Gearing up for a 2-person exhibit at Barrister’s Gallery in New Orleans. It will open in October 2014, which for me, is right around the corner. Good news is it will be during the Prospect.3 Biennial! Until then I will be painting like a madwoman- a madwoman that paints with small dabs and tiny brushstrokes, that is.
