Sharing my new painting Evolving. This piece features a caracal, which are native to Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and India. Also featured is a luna moth, which gravitate towards light in the darkness of night and are therefore seen as a symbol of transformation and striving towards truth. Due to shelter at home orders, I have a couple of online-only exhibitions going on at the moment. These three paintings have found new homes: Woven and Intricate are both part of LeMieux Galleries’ Petite LeMieux exhibition, and Arise is part of Krause Gallery’s charity art exhibition benefiting Meals on Wheels.

Revealing my latest painting Revere. This piece was created for Gristle Art Gallery’s Birds of Paradise exhibition. Revere features a female red-tailed black cockatoo which have yellow spots (males are solid black) so I took the liberty of painting them metallic gold. The angled second photo shows the metallic sheen a bit more. Big thanks to whomever brought this one home! Revere is an acrylic on canvas, 5″ wide by 5″ high.
