I have two shows coming up- one in New York and one in New Orleans. “(Ouroboros)” is a group exhibition opening at LeMieux Galleries in New Orleans, June 6th through July 25th. The other exhibit is called “Reinventing the Helm” and will open at Sara Nightingale Gallery in the Hamptons, June 6th through August 3rd.
“(Ouroboros)” opens with a reception on June 6th, 6-9pm, in conjunction with the Julia Street Artwalk in New Orleans. “Reinventing the Helm” opens June 6th as well, 6-8pm.

One of the group exhibitions I am participating in is opening this week. The P.3+Baton Rouge Invitational is part of the satellite exhibitions program of the Prospect Biennial New Orleans. The opening reception will be held this Saturday, November 15th from 12-7pm at the TTowers Gallery, Chase Tower South in Baton Rouge, LA. Exhibition remains up through January 25th, 2015. Gearing up for a 2-person exhibit at Barrister’s Gallery in New Orleans. It will open in October 2014, which for me, is right around the corner. Good news is it will be during the Prospect.3 Biennial! Until then I will be painting like a madwoman- a madwoman that paints with small dabs and tiny brushstrokes, that is.

Given that it is September, I think just by the title alone everyone can surmise that I am a little late in posting this. Nevertheless, I wanted to share some photos from the closing reception of the 47th National Juried Exhibition- “The Summer Show” held by the St. Tammany Art Association at The Art House in Covington, LA. It was a really strong show, saw several pieces I’d like to own, and a nice turnout. The show was juried by Miranda Lash, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art for the New Orleans Museum of Art. I’m a little slow to post these given my show at Barrister’s Gallery ended June 23rd.
