As mentioned earlier, I was invited to create a set of coasters for La Luz de Jesus Gallery’s 2nd Annual Coaster Show. My coasters are finished and currently at the gallery, awaiting the opening on September 5th. They are 4″ tondo coasters, acrylic on cardstock, and $100 each- top row from the left- Intertwined and Whole; bottom row from left- Union and Connected. Here is a sneak preview of what I’ve been working on for the upcoming 2nd Annual Coaster Show at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. On the left is my sketch on the actual coaster after applying gesso and the sketches on the right are for other coasters. I’ll be posting more photos here soon. The Coaster Show takes place at La Luz de Jesus starting September 5th (with an opening reception from 8-11pm) through September 28th.
