Coalescence

“Coalescence” by Amy Guidry; Acrylic on canvas; 6″ wide by 6″ high; Sold; (c) Amy Guidry 2019

Revealing my latest finished painting Coalescence. This piece features an emperor gum moth and Eurasian lynx (one of four species of lynx cats). They were nearly driven to extinction in Switzerland but were reintroduced so the population is small but stable. They are still critically endangered in other areas, though. The connection of the leaves, moth, and lynx represent the connection of all flora and fauna. Acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 6″ high.
