I’m happy to reveal my finished painting Delicate<\/em>.\u00a0 It is an acrylic on canvas, 5″ wide by 5″ high.\u00a0 This piece was created for Gristle Art Gallery’s insect-themed “Killing Jar<\/a>” exhibition which is going on now through November 24th.\u00a0\u00a0Delicate<\/em> features a stag beetle whose body is patterned in lace.\u00a0 Insects are often feared, but the lace body serves as a reminder to their diminutive size and delicate beauty.\u00a0 You can view the painting on my website here:\u00a0https:\/\/amyguidry.com\/delicate.html<\/a>.<\/p>\n
