I’ve just finished a new small painting in my In Our Veins<\/em> series.\u00a0 The title is Essence<\/em> and it features a Southern white rhino.\u00a0 They are one of two subspecies of white rhinoceros and one of the largest and heaviest land animals in the world.\u00a0 Southern white rhinos are listed as Near Threatened due to habitat loss and poaching.\u00a0 The butterflies in this piece represent life- both are beautiful, fragile, and ephemeral.\u00a0 Essence<\/em> is an acrylic on canvas, 4\u201d wide by 4\u201d high:\u00a0https:\/\/amyguidry.com\/essence.html<\/a>.<\/p>\n
