I’ve just added a new painting to the In Our Veins<\/em> series titled Vessel<\/em>, and it is 4″ x 4,” acrylic on canvas, $100.\u00a0 It was created from a sketch I did three years ago (!) and just wasn’t able to incorporate it at the time.\u00a0 I was reminded of it when going through my sketchbooks the other day and found that it was perfect for this series.\u00a0 The moth, which I took artistic liberty with, represents life.\u00a0 It can be viewed as life either leaving the body or entering it, that is entirely up to the viewer.\u00a0 No matter how it is viewed, life is part of us for a certain period of time.\u00a0 It transitions from one living organism to the next.\u00a0 The body contains life- it is a vessel.\u00a0 To view a larger image, go to: www.amyguidry.com\/vessel.html<\/a>.<\/p>\n
