Another In Our Veins<\/em> painting has found a new home.\u00a0 My painting Sequence<\/em> has sold and is already at its new residence.\u00a0 This is an acrylic on canvas, 6″ wide by 12″ high.\u00a0 The In Our Veins<\/em> series deals with the life cycle and the role of every living organism in it.\u00a0 With Sequence<\/em>, life and death are represented with new life- plants, animals, insects- leading one to the next, from the skull.\u00a0 The animals loosely follow a natural hierarchy, many of them following each other in the food chain.\u00a0 The roses were part of the original sketch and seemed appropriate given that we use roses to celebrate life as well as to honor those that have passed.\u00a0 You can read more about the series as well as view a larger image of Sequence here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
